SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

Watch this section for schedule updates and changes, program additions, new ideas, and special announcements.  As of 4/12/09:

 

· The All English Show has been changed BACK to May 31, 2009.  Revised flyer is available for download.

· NEW:  Superhorse Competition—entry form may be downloaded; deadline for entry is May 24, 2009

· NEW:  Green Horse Trail has been added to the performance show schedule

· CHANGED:  Entry fees for 2009:  Members $5 per class, Non-members $10 per class; all exhibitors $10 office charge (one per horse per show)

· CHANGED:  To qualify for year end awards, members must exhibit in at least 50% of the scheduled shows for each division.

· HELP WANTED:  We need staff for the performance shows—Show Secretary, Announcer, Ring Stewards; all paid positions.  Contact Debbie at 970-454-2436 or ncrcgreeley@aol.com for details.  Start May 3.  Staff do not need to be members and we prefer individuals who are not active exhibitors.  Experience is not required—will train.

Volunteer at any show and receive ride coupons ($5 for every 2 hours worked). We need your help with entry/exit gates, trail set up and teardown, office, and more.

 

All Shows are approved by the RMQHA Outreach Program, Paint Alternative Competition Program, Arabian Incentive Points, and Appaloosa Competitive All-Breeds Activities Program.

 

Rules of the American Quarter Horse Association apply unless noted.  NCRC rules prevail if there is a conflict with AQHA rules or if events are not included in AQHA rules.  Copies of NCRC rules and bylaws are available upon request.

 

Membership is not required to participate in any event.  Membership IS required to qualify for year end awards.  Annual memberships cost $15 single or $25 family; if paid September through December of a calendar year, memberships carryover through the next calendar year.
